Bags, shoes, clothing and accessories branded Tod’s and Lamborghini. This will be the result of the partnership between the two companies, which brings together craftsmanship and tradition made in Italy, but also technological research and innovation. The release date of the products is not known yet. “Attention to detail and continuous research and innovation are values that unite the philosophy of our two brands and represent the true Italian lifestyle,” is the comment of Diego Della Valle, CEO of the Tod’s group.
The Tod’s and Lamborghini partnership
Having surpassed the one billion euro turnover mark in 2022, Tod’s is treating itself to a partnership with Lamborghini. The joint note released does not say more, but it is logical to think that products will be launched bearing the logos of the two brands. The video celebrating the agreement shows some models that will probably be part of the collection. We see trainers with a voluminous bottom, a total white sporty shoe, as well as the Tod’s Gommino moccasin in a more robust version, with a rigid heel in contrasting colours.
Della Valle’s comment
“Lamborghini represents the utmost expression of design and technological research in the global automotive scenario,” declared Diego Della Valle. The announcement of the collaboration comes a week before Tod’s fashion show during Milan Fashion Week (24 February). “Tod’s was founded at the beginning of the last century by a passionate and visionary artisan. Some 50 years later, Ferruccio Lamborghini realised his dream and founded a company driven with the same vision and passion. With a relentless commitment to research and innovation,” adds Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “We are proud of this collaboration, which sets new boundaries for Italian style”.
