Prevent Leather closing down its plant
According to local news sources, Prevent Group gave two reasons for closing down the plant in Visoko. First, since Covid (2020), the volume of orders has steadily decreased. It’s to be noted that the company also started having a less positive relation with large clients (such as WV and Audi) since 2018, which created further challenges. Along with fewer orders was also inflation the effects of the international crisis. The worse of it for now has fallen on the 150 people previously employed in Visoko.
