Last 17 April Eurofins Scientific Multinational Corporation announced, through their CPT (Consumer Product Testing) division, the buyout of BLC Leather Technology Centre, a British laboratory dedicated to chemical tests for the leather industry. In doing so, Eurofins Scientific, headquartered in Luxembourg and currently running over 400 labs located in 44 countries, have reinforced their portfolio of services provided for the fashion industry companies. This is the beginning of a new era for BLC, founded by British Leather Manufacturers Research Association 95 years ago. BLC was also one of the co-founders of Leather Working Group.
