Numerous businesses in the chemical sector that are working for tanneries and those dedicated to the manufacture of leather attended Simac Tanning Tech. The exhibitors appreciated the attendance of numerous Italian and foreign visitors, as well as the simultaneous presence of Lineapelle, which allowed them to spend three days alongside companies that work with leather. Cesar Krebel, from Codyeco, who was attending the fair for the first time, declared to be: “Very pleased with the outcome, as well as for the numerous visitors that were way more than we expected. For us – he continued – it was a crucial moment. We recently launched Biopol, a project with European funding for the development of biopolymers with recycled raw materials. We would like to congratulate the organisers because the fair has gone beyond our expectations”. Monica Gandolfi, from Icap Leather Chem, was “quite satisfied”. “It was an interesting show, with a good turnout. Especially on the second day, there was the opportunity to meet with our Italian partners, as well as the one in Europe and overseas coming from Asia. Erik Robert Themmen, from Biokimica Group, which exposed at Lineapelle, said that his company was back at the event “because having a presence within the tanneries sector is paramount for us”. We were pleased with the people we met, both Italian and foreigners. In our opinion was a positive event with new job opportunities and development” Themmen concluded.
