FGL International and Finikem, companies active in the chemicals for tanning segment and owned by Lapi Group, “will become one entity”, reads a press release. The two brands will remain on the market to give continuity, but the managerial activity will be optimized by integrating the two entities headquartered in Castelfranco di Sotto (Pisa).
One entity
FGL International and Finikem will become a single reality inside which two product lines will be developed. The one for the humid phase of the leather tanning process, core business of FGL, and the finishing one, specialization of Finikem. The unification of the two companies will operationally take place during the early months of 2023.
New setup
Leading the “new entity” will be “Francesco Lapi, current CEO of the two companies”. Beside him the historic owners of FLG International, Eligio Stoppa and Massimo Rinaldi. Fabrizio Ugolini will become maaging director.
