Mission accomplished. After obtaining endorsement by all necessary authorities, BASF transferred its Chemical-Tanning division to Stahl, which will begin running it on September 30th. The closing, announced last March, includes L’Hospitalet (Spain) and 210 employees. BASF becomes a shareholder of Stahl (16% of shares), and will continue to provide chemical-tanning products to Stahl in a mid-long term as agreed by the two parties.
