The challenge is out. The organisation has started. A New Point of View, the “smart” salon reserved for the fashion & luxury supply chain opens its doors to the market. As announced by Lineapelle, which organises it, the event will take place at Fieramilano Rho in September, on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23, 2020. And, as it is written in its own identity, it promises to offer, in the light of the “situation of socio-economic instability caused by the health emergency”, a new commercial point of view. Resilient and active. Based on the return (in a completely safe environment) to the physicality of meetings between exhibitors and buyers. Emphasised and promoted through a rich program of digital activities involving its global community.
A New Point of View
The organisational machine of A New Point of View, as mentioned, has began to work. And it has already collected the first adhesions from European exhibitors. Italians and French, Spanish and Germans. As per the project, they are offered the opportunity to exhibit in unified booths (differentiated only by the chosen size), in a space that will be organised and managed in light of all the safest Covid-19 emergency management standards.
A concrete answer
For Lineapelle, it is a way to concretely and adequately answer to today’s complex economic inputs. A real and concrete answer, offered in contiguity and concomitance with 4 other reference trade fair events for the leather industry: Micam, Mipel, TheOne, Homi Fashion & Jewels. An answer that intends to underline Lineapelle’s essential and fundamental role and its entire network of international events.
Digital programming
Speaking of international networks, Lineapelle, having to cancel the summer editions of London and New York, has developed a rich program of digital events that further strengthen and promote the sense of A New Point of View. The objective is to create stimulating opportunities (for exhibitors and visitors) of “virtual networking”. Lineapelle explains what it is: “A program of digital content, services and tools developed to promote exhibitor collections on a vast network of international buyers. To inspire and support the creative fashion industry, and address strategic issues for the supply chain”. In practice: “individual” business presentation webinars, analysis talks in relation to “hot” topics (from innovation to sustainability), stylistic presentations. The (obviously) virtual inauguration is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, and digital activities will continue until early August.
