At Lineapelle New York (29 – 30 January) the test of a super-significant market for the leather and fashion industry. A market that, in the light of Donald Trump‘s re-election, is reforming itself. It is no coincidence, after all, that, in promotional terms, those of Lineapelle New York are called Inspiring Days. Two days in which, “in the spaces of the Metropolitan Pavilion, companies exhibit their samples to a market that is crucial for Made in Italy”, writes Lineapelle. “A market grappling with a presidential transition that the whole world is watching to understand how a long series of economic and geopolitical balances could change”.
Lineapelle New York
Over 100 exhibitors, mostly tanneries (more than 80), just under half of them Italian. Lineapelle New York is also – as usual – an opportunity to talk about style. In the spotlight is – as it was at Lineapelle London (21 January) and as it will be at Lineapelle Milan (25/26/27 February) – the summer season 2026. The clouds “are the place of ReflAction, a crasis of the words Reflection and Action: they are the creative space, the privileged, safe place from which to observe our dizzying future”.
