There are still some restrictions, chosen based on the country of origin, for those that want to enter Italy from another country. But the government has decided that participation at fairs is a valid reason to enter the country. Among the new measures included in the government’s latest official decree (September 7th), which will be valid until September 30th, there is also the aforementioned. The text shows the government’s intention toward foreign visitors in this decree regarding, also, international fairs. It’s good news for exhibitors, visitors and, generally speaking, all operators active in the various industries of Italy’s tradeshow during the next 3 weeks. That includes all events in Milan, ça va sans dire, such as those of the fashion industry and leather segment.
Valid reason
Let’s go into details. The decree, according to what reported by certifico.com, allows individuals wishing to participate in international fairs, (for work), to access Italy without quarantine. Those that wish to do, though, must provide the transport company (airline or railway, for example), documentation showing to proper authorities that they have been tested for Covid-19 in the last 72 hours. If visitors do that, they can participate in the fairs.
