Double Asian event, with the presence of Italian exhibitors, and organised by Lineapelle and UNIC / UNAC. Tokyo Leather Fair, which took place on May 25 and 26, was the first event showcasing the summer trends in 2018. Feedbacks were good, albeit confined to a stable but narrow niche. Attendees showed a keen interest in style demonstrated by Lineapelle that presented the novelties during a busy seminar. According to Lineapelle, smooth finishes, printed, embossed and wrinkled leather, as well as neutral and natural tones, drew the interests of the attendees. About 5,500 visitors. The next edition will be on 6th and 7th December 2017. In Guangzhou, where from 31 May to 2 June it was held the annual edition of Shoes & Leather, there was a different atmosphere. Attended by a collective of Italian companies coordinated by UNIC / UNAC, it was a confirmation that Chinese are rewarding those who have structured their presence in the country for years, working with a clientele that operates on the domestic market.
