Futurmoda have cancelled October edition. Since they cancelled the exhibition event, formerly scheduled on October 21-22, the fair next edition, number 44, will take place in Alicante on 10-11 March 2021. “We are awfully sorry about such decision, as we are fully aware of repercussions for our trade industry – remarked organizers, the AEC association, while speaking to Modaes –, both from an economic and a commercial point of view, especially over the present tough times our trade industry has been going through”.
Futurmoda have cancelled October edition
The fair for leather goods and footwear components and machinery has eventually raised the white flag owing to Coronavirus. Due to such “uncertainty and impact”, related to the pandemic, Futurmoda have decided to cancel the exhibition. “We have made this difficult decision after thinking over it for several weeks and after talking to a vast majority of entrepreneurs and exhibitors – pointed out AEC –, who agreed with us on the cancellation of the event. During 2019 edition, over 7,000 visitors alongside 435 international exhibitors participated in the fair. However, AEC will regularly carry out the presentation of Spring/Summer trends, on October 21st, by setting up a digital event. Following the presentation, some digital seminars on trends will take place as well.
