The exhibitors’ feelings were confirmed by the numbers. Lineapelle closed the 98th edition (Fieramilano Rho, 19/21 February) “going beyond the current global forecasts and emergencies – informs a brief note shared by the trade fair management -, consolidating its international leadership in a concrete way”.
Visitors on the rise
“Lineapelle confirms its importance for the global fashion and luxury supply chain by welcoming almost 20,000 visitors”. The percentage of growth, given the fears of the eve and the global context, shows “a increase of 2% compared to 2019 editions. A growth highlighted by both Italian and foreign visitors. An extraordinary proof of vitality and solidity, which Lineapelle expressed despite the absence of Chinese and Far Eastern exhibitors and buyers due to the Coronavirus epidemic”.
The trade fair synergy
“In addition to the positive attendance – continues the note of the Milanese exhibition management – the exhibitors point out the excellent level of quality of the visitors, which is also the result of the synergy with the footwear show, Micam, and the leather goods show, Mipel with which Lineapelle shared a day of exhibition, on Wednesday 18 February”. The next edition of Lineapelle will take place at Fieramilano Rho from 23 to 25 September 2020. It will be dedicated to the autumn/winter 2021/2022 season.
