A New Point of View, Lineapelle special format, is warming up the engines. The event is due to take place tomorrow, Tuesday 22 September, and Wednesday 23 September 2020, simultaneously with Micam, Mipel and TheOne last two days. It is going to host 320 exhibitors, coming from 14 countries, who will showcase their products at Hall 5 (tanneries) and Hall 7 (manufacturers of accessories, components, fabrics and synthetics), in the Fieramilano Rho exhibition area.
A New Point of View warms up the engines
A two-day physical exhibition to “meet up again and share one’s point of view on materials and accessories – pointed out Lineapelle in a press release –. Aiming, as well, to get back in touch with players and strengthen connections, which are of paramount importance to manufacturing industries involved in the fair. The trade show will provide exhibitors and visitors with full security standards to safeguard their health and safety during the fair. Together with the other events, running simultaneously, the fair is meant to be an essential opportunity to revamp some strategic sectors, such as supply and Made in Italy manufacturing”.
Taking pride
“Indeed, we must show great appreciation – commented Fulvia Bacchi, Chief Executive Officer of Lineapelle – for all exhibitors and visitors (for the time being, about 4,000 buyers have registered, 20% of whom are internationals, editor’s note) who have confirmed, on such a difficult time, their physical participation in the exhibition. In so doing, they proudly represent some industries that play a leading role, on an international scale, and are of essential importance to national economy”.
Such pride goes hand in hand with the awareness that “Lineapelle, over the years, has progressively become a real heritage for the industries it represents. This is therefore one more reason why it must be supported, enhanced and enriched with contents and projects. We have accordingly orientated all of our activities, carried out during and after the lockdown period, towards such direction, aiming to keep relations with our reference community alive and challenging”.
An innovative formula
Lineapelle – A New Point of View “stands out for its innovative exhibiting formula”. In other words, “it matches the physical presence of stands and collections with a few technological and digital projects, which aim at broadening exhibitors’ stylistic, promotional and commercial horizons”.
For example, they are going to present a streaming show to spotlight “a number of Brand Commercials, by exhibiting companies, and Live Experience, focusing on process automation and product customization, created in collaboration with Dyloan, which will be attending the trade show by running a technological space at Hall 7”.
On top of that, “several customized connections, alongside tailored streaming services, with buyers from China, Korea, Japan and the United States: thanks to one click, we will successfully override their unavoidably compulsory distance”.
For the ones who will be attending the fair
Lineapelle has (also) developed, for the ones who will be attending the fair, “a physical route along an across-the-board enhancement of Italian leather. Five Lounge Areas are going to turn into exhibiting spaces: leather dresses, created by some well-known fashion designers from made in Italy manufacturing, will be on display in rotation with leather sport accessories”.
Among others, “two collectible leather biker tracksuits, one of which was worn by Eddie Lawson in 1990, during a racing grand-prix, plus some more meaningful models”. The aim is “to tell and spotlight Italian leather quality excellence alongside its versatility and its unlimited power to consistently evolve”.
