Next season, spring/summer 2019, is going to be characterized by a new attitude of mind while selecting materials, tints and surfaces, thus going hand in hand with the present-day society and its multiculturalism. Lineapelle’s Fashion Committee has pinpointed the concept of Empathy as the key to present the new summer 2019 trends. The style research program, planned by the organization, will be presented at the fair in the three Trend Areas (located at the entrance of Hall 13 and inside Halls 9 and 22), which house over 2,000 selected samples. “We decided not to classify trends according to themes, and therefore to depict them in one big conceptual box – points out Antonella Bertagnin, from Lineapelle’s Fashion Committee – subsequently split into two different directions. The former is about neatness and simplification, emphasizing softness and highlighting sparkle. The latter is based on combinations of contrasts, mixing natural products with digital innovation”.
