Organizational machines running at full capacity for Lineapelle, that closes “a 2017 of growth and leadership consolidation at an international level, and is going to start 2018 with a bang”. Three appointments happening in sequence between January and February 2018. Lineapelle London will take place on Tuesday, January 23rd, inside the Ham Yard Hotel: 50 top-tier exhibitors (tanneries, accessories and components, textiles and synthetics), that will share their creative ideas “not just with buyers and design departments of British brands, but also with designers and stylists that are new to the game, people who are the perfect example of the creative excitement that is a part of London’s fashion”. Lineapelle New York will take place the following week, (Wednesday and Thursday), January 31st to February 1st, in the Metropolitan Pavilion. The New York edition will have “120 exhibitors, clearly growing in number in comparison to last year’s edition. The number of exhibitors caused, as the previous year’s number did, to expand the space dedicated to the fair”. Both London and New York will include the usual informational seminars to learn more in depth the trends for the Summer 2019 collections. After these two fairs, Lineapelle will return to Italy for the top event of the season: the 94th edition of Lineapelle Milano (February 20th-22nd, at Fieramilano Rho), “already has (almost) the same number of exhibitors” as the previous year, with over 2 months to spare. A great start, then, for an event that moves (considering both exhibitors and visitors) about 150 billion USD of business and from which the leather segment expects ulterior positive signals (improving), with regards to the marketplace.
