Minister Giorgetti had spoken about it at the inauguration. Now, at the end of the show, the chairmanship of the trade fair organisations has confirmed that it really was the renaissance edition. The joined restart worked. Micam, Mipel and TheOneMilano closed their special edition on Tuesday September 21, registering a total of 22,274 operators over three days. To the satisfaction of the 735 exhibitors, the presidents of the three events and the CEO of Fiera Milano.
Badon’s satisfaction
In addition to his satisfaction with the final figures, Siro Badon, president of Assocalzaturifici and Micam, reiterated the strategic role of the exhibition for the entire sector. “This has been the renaissance edition. The real protagonists are the exhibitors, who once again believed in the event. Seeing the light and enthusiasm in the eyes of those who are finally starting to put a difficult economic situation behind them is priceless”.
And that of Gabbrielli and Albertalli
“We are satisfied and proud. The results of this edition of Mipel120 are even better than expected,” observes Franco Gabbrielli, president of Assopellettieri and Mipel. “This synergy we established a year ago has proved to be a consolidated tool capable, once again this year, of meeting the needs of the operators. The same spirit of renaissance will animate the first edition of Mipel Lab, which starts today together with Lineapelle”. Gabbrielli is echoed by the president of TheOneMilano, Norberto Albertalli: “We are happy to be part of #RestartTogether. We want to develop it in the future, to confirm a project created to offer companies a business platform in which to believe and operate with confidence”.
And now Lineapelle
Luca Palermo, CEO of Fiera Milano, recalled that #RestartTogether continues with Lineapelle. “These are appointments that demonstrate the importance of working as a system and the central role of trade fairs in restarting a production sector that is crucial for the country”.
