New challenges for ACLE, which cancelled the November edition of the fair and pushes everything back to end-of-August 2022. Organizers of All China Leather Exhibition have had to reprogram, once again, the event due to the health emergency currently taking place. The fair had already been moved from Summer 2021 to the end of November. Now it’s delayed once again: new dates are August 31st, to September 2nd.
ACLE pushes everything back till the end of August 2022
ACLE’s organizers announced in a note that the fair is being re-planned to take place between August 31st and September 2nd. Originally, ACLE should have taken place in August 2021 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The fair had then been pushed by 3 months (to November 23rd to 25th). Now, less than two weeks from its opening, the new delay.
The cause
As explained by organized, the Covid-19 epidemic pushed China to “impose blocks and travel restrictions for all cases, minus emergency ones” at a global scale, but also within the country. The restriction has to do with many provinces tied to the tanning segment, as well as for the automotive industry. “To guarantee a productive event for all parties – reads the note -, we want to hold the fair when exhibitors and buyers from these key regions can participate”.
