To become more efficient while positively contributing to the struggle against climate changes: such is the main challenge in the next years, to mark international competitiveness. For these reasons, it is important to develop suitable solutions to make productions more efficient: such is the aim of Assomac companies, which exhibit their products at Simac Tanning Tech. Focusing on technology directed at the tanning industry, they have driven the technological updating of machinery and systems towards an increasing process interconnection, looking ahead at Industry 4.0 (subsidies promoted by Italian Government will still be valid throughout 2018). The Supplier of Sustainable Technologies, which is an associative labelling system certified by a third party institution, aims to clear up the system impact in the manufacturing process, through the internationally acknowledged CFP standard (Carbon Footprint), worked out according to LCA methods. “All these endeavours wink at the tanning industry – says Assomac -, thus basically contributing to the qualification of the manufacturing production process, aiming to make it more and more eco-friendly and creditable, and enhancing the Made in Italy value, based on quality, innovation and creativity, acknowledged worldwide”.
