The location is strategic, perfect for Alibaba’s declared objective. That is: to attract new sellers to its platform. “Alibaba has decided to participate in this important event to explain the possibilities it offers companies with its countless customers around the world”. The aim, then, is to open its doors to new sellers and connect them with potential buyers.
The first time, but not really
In reality, that between Alibaba and Expo Riva Schuh is a long-standing relationship. Back in 2017, the Asian giant was a guest speaker at the inaugural debate, talking about e-commerce and international market trends. This, however, is the first time ever that Alibaba is playing a leading role. In fact, the portal is a partner of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags and will take part in a webinar on B2B trends and how to approach foreign markets, which will be broadcast at the end of the fair.
