The tradefair calendar is increasingly crowded in the first fortnight of September. In addition to Bread & Butter by Zalando (Berlin 2-4) and theMicam-Mipel (Milan 3-6), we also find Origin Passion and Beliefs (Milan 6-8, in conjunction with Milano Unica) and ILM-International Leather Goods Fair (Offenbach 10-12). Origin Passion and Beliefs is dedicated to fashion and Italian manufacturing. Organized by Fiera Vicenza, it is coming to Milan for the first time after two editions in Vicenza. The event aims to promote the all-Italian production process for the fashion system. It features four areas: Leather (leather clothing, shoes, bags and accessories); Stone (jewellery and accessories); Textile (clothing, knitwear, textiles, embroidery and accessories); Technology (patents, new technologies, new materials). In Germany, ILM will host around 300 international exhibitors of leather goods, luggage, school accessories and umbrellas, an increase compared to the last edition. More than 6,000 visitors are expected and the presentation of two leather-themed “special” projects has been announced: one developed by BMW and one regarding fish skin.
