Now in its 22nd year, it is the most popular and viral singing talent show in American media history. Suffice it to say that in the final of the 2009 season, some 100 million votes were received. Since the 16th edition, one of the three judges has been pop star Katy Perry. Katy Perry wore a leather bustier and gloves by Italian designer Francesco Muraro on Monday’s episode (22 April 2024). They are part of a collection created in close collaboration with Lineapelle and Camera Moda Fashion Trust and presented in February at the Fashion Hub during the last Milan Fashion Week. Beyond the American Idol share – always very high – Katy Perry’s outfit literally bounced online. In particular, on the pop star’s Instagram profile, which has 207 million followers. The post with the stage photos has had (so far) 240,251 likes and 3,716 comments. Not counting all the interactions from profiles tagged by the artist. Not bad, in short.
