Taking Soeur to EUR 100 million in turnover, up from 51 in 2023, by exploiting leather bags and shoes. This is Style Capital‘s plan for the brand founded in 2007 by sisters Domitille and Angélique Brion, 80% of which it took over in 2023.
Taking Soeur to EUR 100 mln
The turnover has already risen from EUR 51 million in revenues in 2023 to the over EUR 60 million planned for 2024 (38% from the online channel). Now, the goal is to take Soeur to EUR 100 million within three years. Roberta Benaglia, who heads the fund Style Capital, explained to MFF that the brand, born in womenswear, is already growing with accessories: “They now represent 25% of sales. Clean lines and a competitive entry price are two strong points. The footwear offer is entirely in leather. Production is mainly in Portugal, with a few items made in India and also Mauritius. The bags, also almost all leather, come from India and to a lesser extent from Morocco and Turkey”.
Distribution
Soeur has 50 directly operated shops, 520 wholesale outlets and 240 employees. It has a sustainable approach and can be framed in the quiet luxury galaxy. “We believe in timeless fashion that stands the test of time and can be worn in any season”, reads the fashion house’s website. The Spring-Summer 2024 collection includes 53% eco-responsible pieces. Among other growth potential plans, Style Capital’s number one points to the Men’s offer. “A men’s capsule called Frère has been launched. For now it is not a real men’s collection, but in the future who knows”, Benaglia concludes.
