Tod’s and the creative director of the men’s line Andrea Incontri to part. The end of the collaboration, started in 2014, was announced with an official note from the group. After the thanks of Diego Della Valle, come those of the designer: “For me it has been an honour to have been part of this great family. Tod’s has been a school and an important growth experience. I thank Diego and Andrea Della Valle for their support and enthusiasm that they have always shared with me”. Incontri was the last creative director of Tod’s. Without a creative director is also Hogan, while Arthur Arbesser and Gherardo Felloni are respectively at Fay and Roger Vivier. Along with the abolition of the seasons and the new path taken by the Tod’s group, a creative director, Della Valle dixit, could only “slow down projects”: it was inevitable that the marriage with Incontri should, sooner or later, end. It is unlikely for the group to hire a new creative director in his place. But, in fashion, never say never.
