New acquisitions for MTW Holding, which annexes the Tuscan Metalstudio and its subsidiary Metal Precious. An operation that doubles the size of the luxury accessories pole to EUR 165 million and 700 employees. Not only that. Egidio Salvini, founder of Metalstudio group, becomes the new president of MTW Holding. “We are the reference platform for entrepreneurs in the sector”, says Giovanni Revoltella, partner of Dbag Italia (Italian branch of the fund that controls MTWH) and member of the MTWH Board of Directors.
New acquisitions for MTW Holding
MTWH adds Metalstudio and Metal Precius to its luxury accessories conglomerate formed by Metalworks (Bergamo), Mengoni e Nassini (Florence), FGF (Florence) and Fixo (Padua). The group, controlled from June 2022 by the Dbag VIII fund (a Frankfurt private equity company listed on the stock exchange), thus strengthens its strategic positioning in the sector. And it doubles its perimeter, which is now around EUR 165 million and 700 employees.
Salvini is the new MTWH president
The Metalstudio group of Scandicci (Florence) brings a dowry of 300 workers and over EUR 80 million in revenues in 2022. Egidio Salvini, owner and founder of the group, becomes president of MTWH, in full managerial continuity. “Customer service, progress and sustainability are the three cornerstone concepts that have accompanied us in our industrial journey for 50 years now”, comments the Tuscan entrepreneur in the press release. The Tuscan entrepreneur continues: “Becoming part of a group of excellence such as MTWH will allow us to satisfy and improve our all-round attention to our customers”.
The logic of the integrated platform
“With this operation, the group acquires new and distinctive competences that allow us to strengthen our presence in the accessories sector”. Result obtained “thanks to an integrated platform logic” summarises Cesare Luzzana, CEO of MTWH (photo from MTWH website).
