Acquisition in the industrial automation for the footwear industry. Atom expands in the Veneto region through the acquisition of an historic manufacturer located in Padova. In other words, Atom decided to acquire Technetronic (based in Limena, Padova), via its subsidiary Main Group Technologies. Technetronic is specialized in automation technology and will continue to produce with its own brand as well.

Main Group Technologies announced the acquisition of 100% of Technetronic’s capital from the founders Oscar, Ivano and Leonardo Zanella.
All the aforementioned will continue to lead the company and will acquire “transversal responsibility roles on innovation, robotics and automation” for Main Group, as well as for Atom.
The operation brings Technetronic inside the Atom group, as Main Group Technologies is a Lombardy-based subsidiary of Atom with a long tradition of manufacturer of machinery for the footwear segment.
New organization
Technetronic will continue to operate with its own brand. Additionally, the number of resources will increase so as to widen the field of industrial applications for the company. Goal is to “qualify the company on the global market as an excellence in the robotics and mecha-tronic fields”.
