Holding Moda bought 4 suppliers. The company controlled by Holding Industriale (HIND) announced the purchase of 4 laboratories already supplying goods to its enterprises. These are: Manifattura Lendinarese, Taglionetto, Elledi and Lanificio Arca. The goal is to vertically integrate the chain even more, but also to widen the service offering for customers and optimize the supply chain with green investments on the territory.
The four laboratories
Manifattura Lendinarese has been a long-time supplier of the coat manufacturing company RBS, owned by Holding Moda. It’s located in Lendinara, near Rovigo, and is specialized in the creation of sportswear and other clothing items. Taglionetto, laboratory in Calenzano (Florence) has collaborated with GAB pelletteria for a while: it makes belts, wallets, pochettes and other high-end items (in photo from LinkedIn). Elledi, Pomigliano D’Arco (Naples), makes uppers for shoes. Lanificio Arca in Prato meanwhile manufactures soft accessories and is part of Beste (textiles and clothing).
117 more employees
“These acquisitions bring strategic segments of the value chain for Holding Moda, involving 117 people. They represent an important investment for the growth of the group’s companies”, commented Giulio Guasco, CEO of Holding Moda. The group explained how acquiring known suppliers “adds highly strategic elements to the direct supply chain”.
