Supply chain transactions: one has been concluded, the other may come in the next few days. Style Capital has given a “like” on Jacquemus, putting it on its list of favorites. Conversely, Lampo is buying close-by Myzip for an all-Brescia-based aggregation.
Style Capital sets its sights on Jacquemus
Jacquemus is looking for a minority investor. And Style Capital is raising its hand. “The one with Jacquemus is a combination that I would love. It’s a brand that we really value, with characteristics that are in line with what we are aiming for”, Roberta Benaglia, CEO of Style Capital, told MFFashion, confirming the interest. Probably, given the success of the brand, Style Capital will not be the only one interested in becoming a minority partner of founder Simone Porte Jacquemus. But given the relevant trend of Roberta Benaglia & Co. has racked up, Jacquemus might give it a thought. The Style Capital private equity fund controls brands such as Forte_forte, Msgm, Luisaviaroma, Autry and, the latest addition, Soeur. And speaking of the latter, Benaglia herself said, “We have captured its unbeatable positioning as quality-price. The Milan store is doing great, and it responds of today’s consumer”.
Lampo acquires MyZip
From the Brescia area comes a zipper aggregation. Lampo by Ditta Giovanni Lanfranchi of Palazzolo sull’Oglio has announced the acquisition of MyZip, a company based in Verolanuova. The former, a historic brand of national interest, is active in the production of zippers for the fashion world. The second specializes in the production of zippers for sportswear. From their union was born “Lampo perfomance division”.
According to a report in Il Giornale di Brescia, the union will lead to an integration of production processes, improved design and research and development. The two brands will still maintain their own identity. “This operation comes from the sharing of values between us and the MyZip family”, commented Gaetano and Giulio Lanfranchi, fourth generation of the Lampo family. “The union of the two realities will pave the way for international collaborations and high-profile projects, promising cutting-edge solutions and maintaining our high commitment to the ability to innovate, quality excellence and respect for the environment”, they conclude from Lampo.
