The US company has launched an exclusive collection for men, 100% Made in the UK (MiUK). Called MiUK Surplus Pack, it’s a limited edition of some of their most iconic models – 1500, 670, 575, 576 and 577 – along with a brand-new silhouette created for the anniversary, the 991.5 – with only 1906 pieces available for each model. All products are made of the highest-quality materials and leathers coming from New Balance’s UK factory in Flimby, Cumbria. Whilst the entire collection deserves some special attention, the New Balance MiUK 991.5 deserve more attention. This distinctive new hybrid combines the classic 991 Upper with a 1500 sole unit, paying homage to New Balance’s UK manufacturing heritage.
