New Balance renews the iconic 997 by focusing on leather. The US footwear colossus has just launched a new high end version of the historic 997 in three colours and, most important, manufacturing them in bison leather of American origin, “soft and at the same time very durable”. This is the material chosen by New Balance for the Bison capsule collection, made in the United States and sold both online and in stores since last Friday at a price of 300 euros. The details of the brand are printed on the flap, the inner part is covered in fabric, while the midsole and sole with the patented ENCAP technology complete the shoe. The particular sole, typical of the US brand, consists of a rubber made of ethylene vinyl acetate. The three colours offered are black, navy blue and white.
