A design festival in an international metropolis. The reached goal was to explain leather to a new target. The festival is called Clerkenwell Design Week, held in London, and the Italian ambassadors for leather during May 23rd were UNIC – Italian Tanneries and Lineapelle.
Clerkenwell Design Week
Clerkenwell Design Week lasted 3 days and welcomed over 30,000 between operators and visitors. The event was held in Clerkenwell, area of London filled with creative energy, which hosted a roundtable focused on Italian leather titled: How Leather Contributes to Lowering Carbon Footprints.
Lineapelle and UNIC explain leather
The main participants: UNIC and Lineapelle, with the latter also beginning a strategic partnership with SBID, the Society of British & International Interior Design, association that defines the operational parameters and commercial standards for British design. SBID, reads an online press release, “represents interior designers in their professional activities. It supports their growth in every phase via special consults, resources and continuous education and training”. It makes sense for the entity to join the seminar held by UNIC and Lineapelle.
What to say in London
Over 100 people participated to an event that defined a new usage perimeter for Italian leather. An inedited experience focused on an extended concept of lifestyle. For example, by presenting some case studies of suppliers to the outdoor segment. A goal that is part of a roadshow that saw Lineapelle and UNIC present the added value of Italian leather in Seoul as well, in South Korea.
