A 165 years journey: Vuitton’s Time Capsule

Abbiamo visitato Time Capsule di Louis Vuitton

It opened last Friday, and will close on October 20th. Time Capsule is the exhibition that traces the long history of Louis Vuitton, from 1854 to today. It is hosted, in Milan, in the halls of Palazzo Reale and it truly represents a journey through time. In fashion. In style. And also in the use of leather. We have been there, and we will tell you all about it (also) through the video below.

Itinerant and free

Time Capsule is a traveling exhibition with free admission. It offers an exclusive selection of unique items from the archives of the fashion house. It is developed along four directions: inventions, journeys, the art of preserving objects and icons. Time Capsule, among the many accessories on display, also features Boîte Milano, a unique trunk created for the International Exhibition of Decorative and Modern Arts in Paris, in 1925. Inside the exhibition it is possible to watch the work of LV artisans, to understand how its accessories are born. (Mv)
