An exceptional first quarter. The Kering Group closed the January-March period with revenues (3.5 billion) up 31.2%. While the Lifestyle and Sports brands are “satisfied” by + 16.5%, luxury ones fly at + 34% with Gucci + 51.4%. “We are benefiting from a somewhat more favourable economic environment, the creative force of our homes, and the application of our strategy,” said group president François-Henry Pinault. There is not only the excellent performance of Gucci in the current quarter of Kering. Yves Saint-Laurent (+ 35.4%) and a little less, Bottega Veneta (+ 4.7%) also grew. The Couture & Leather Goods segment of the other luxury brands marks + 11.1%.
