Prada streamlines retail. After the announcement of the closure of the Milan boutique in Corso Venezia 3, the label is also rejigging the outlet channel, and is preparing to close the store in FoxTown in Mendrisio, on the border between Italy and Switzerland, which has been in business for nearly twenty years, later this year. According to reports from Pambianconews, closures are also planned at other outlets, in addition to the reorganisation of the retail area, with Prada already having planned 20 new openings for this year, but, above all, 25 closures due to the drop in sales (-17.8% in the first half of 2016), also due to a smaller flow of tourists, especially in Europe.
