During the meeting, there was the time for presenting some of the many global projects carried out with Italian machinery. On July 12, one of them was inaugurated in Vietnam. Binh Duong, in the southern location of LEFASO (the association representing the local leather chain), cut off the tape of the Italo-Vietnamese Shoe Industry Technology Center. MISE and ITA-ICE Agency, with ASSOMAC as a technology partner (together with the vigian company Pisie), helped build the structure. Inside there is an experimental manoeuvre complete with evolved machines for computerised cutting of uppers, additions, presses, mounts and finishing of footwear. ASSOMAC also managed the professional training of the staff.
