Pedro Garcia, one of the most important entrepreneurs of the Spanish footwear industry history, died Thursday night at the age of 81 years. He had inherited the business founded by his father in 1925, bringing it to international success. The company produces all its collections of high-end women footwear in Elda where it has a hundred employees, in addition to those employed in the Madrid and New York offices. Exports represents 75% of sales. The reference markets are the United States and Italy. Pedro Garcia had already faced another generational change: the daughter Mila is CEO of the company, while the son is the creative director of the company.
