Italian tanneries mourn Filippo Brancati, who died in Arzignano, on Tuesday 15 September 2020, at the age of 69. He was the sales and advertising chief supervisor of Conceria Montebello (Montebello Tannery).
We say goodbye to Filippo Brancati
His laugh was unique as much as his smile, which proved contagious. Filippo Brancati was born in 1950. After taking up a few work experiences in the construction industry, he joined the Montebello team in 1990, together with Franco Dalle Mese, son of Giuseppe Dalle Mese, founder of the tannery.
A pillar
While handling the management of all commercial issues of the tannery, based in Veneto, Brancati soon became a pillar of the company. Relatives and friends recall him as a “model of loyalty, generosity, strength and hospitality”. He was married to Nadia (daughter of Giuseppe Dalle Mese too) and he had a daughter, Marika (she has been working in the tannery for a while) and a son, Massimo.
