Mission number one: “to promote and enhance Italian leather in the interior design sector through styling and product development actions”. Mission number two: to activate “collaborative connections with the world of Italian and international design and architecture”. A new project will make its debut at Lineapelle 103, scheduled to take place at Fieramilano Rho from 20 to 22 February 2024. ” Its name is LINEAPELLE INTERIORS” and, in this first act, it proposes a sort of “business culture exhibition” entitled Leather Duets.
Leather Duets
Leather Dutes (Hall 24) “stages a sequence of five installations“. “Duets”, in fact. “each of which presents the realisation of an exclusive leather design project shared between a made-in-Italy leather manufacturer and a furniture company. A path linked by a thematic fil rouge that leads the semi-finished product to become international excellence, passing through its transformation into a high-end finished product”. The duos will be: Manifattura di Domodossola with Nalesso, Accoppiature Mistral with Mantellassi 1926, Conceria Gaiera with Cierreesse, Conceria Montebello with Studioart, Gruppo Mastrotto with Kreoo.
Engaging attractiveness
“With this new project,” comments Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle, “LINEAPELLE is creating an area of strong and engaging appeal to explore the value of Italian leather and hide in areas other than those more closely linked to fashion, for which, however, they are confirmed in their role as reference materials. LINEAPELLE INTERIORS is an opportunity to open up new creative and market horizons”.
Unexplored application areas
“We believe that, as far as made-in-Italy leather is concerned, there are vast areas of application that have remained unexplored or not properly expressed for the interior design sector to date”. As the artistic director of the project, Maurizio Molini, said. “This project represents a set of actions aimed at launching possible futures towards the Design Economy, implementing involvement at an international level and activating business development opportunities”.
