“A good fair, as usual”. Time to take stock today, at Lineapelle94, on its third and final exhibition day, currently underway (the event was scheduled on February 20-22, at Fieramilano Rho). Gianfranco Dalle Mese, owner of the Conceria Montebello, is happy; same goes for Giancarlo Dani, owner of the tanning group headquartered in Veneto: “We had two amazing days, full of encounters”, points out. Likewise, Maurizio Motta, from the Motta Pelli tannery, placed in Monza, remarks that “the first day was very positive, and the second one was even sparkling”. “We came across very varied clients: in fact, both traditional customers and new ones turned up”, adds Dani. “We met many customers coming from Europe, and Americans as well”, emphasizes Dalle Mese; in contrast, we noticed that “Chinese visitors decreased, owing to Chinese New Year’s Eve”. “The success of a fair – points out Alessandro Iliprandi, from Conceria Bonaudo – does not hang anymore on the number of visitors, but rather on their quality, which was very good”. As well, at the stand of US Edsim Leather satisfaction is in the air. The Kamali brothers, Daniel and Joel, say: “We have been taking part in the fair for many years, and we’ll keep doing it. It’s a big show, and every time we meet customers from all the fashion segments”.
