The modern integration contract by Loro Piana will be valid for all the 1,500 employees working for the brand in Italy. “Growth, trust, sustainability and responsibility over the principles on which the agreement is based”, says the group owned by LVMH.
More flexibility to its 1,500 employees in Italy
There are many new elements in the new contract. The latter provides more flexibility to employees based on their needs, such as giving fathers 5 additional days of paid parental leave, compared to those guaranteed by law. At the same time, it improves the conditions of part-time contracts signed after returning from work after giving birth. As pointed out by Il Sole 24 Ore, the new contract also includes special permits to place children into primary kindergartener school. There is also an additional period provided for newlyweds and even those with a foreign marriage license.
Leave and hours
Loro Piana will also double paid leave for any gender violence victims, establish an internal financing system to help employees facing difficulties and allow them to exchange vacation or personal days with colleagues. Paid days and hours for study were doubled to 200 hours a year, while collective bonuses were also renewed. Productivity bonuses will reach around 3,380 euro a year per each employee.

Union representatives say that this new contract is “the first of its kind and can lead other businesses to do the same”, while the innovation “could be inserted in the upcoming renewal of individual contracts”.
