Fangchenggang Coast Guard, in the autonomous region of Guangxi, in southern China, has taken the contraband crocodile skins. During a check in the night, around 3 o’clock local, police inspected a vessel that contained numerous boxes of polystyrene. The men of the security forces have faced 1,609 well crocodile skins, each about 1.4 meters long, and 506 kg of crocodile meat. The owner of the boat, which was carrying the hides and meat without authorization, was arrested and seized the ship. The men of the Coast Guard have also intercepted a suspect, alleged accomplice arrested man, who appears to have been hired to procure skins and meat in neighbouring Vietnam and then to carry them in China.
