The award ceremony was held in Milan at Palazzo Mezzanotte, headquarters of Borsa Italiana.
The award
The award aims to encourage an increase in the culture of sustainability in the Italian business system. And, according to Kon Group chairman Francesco Ferragina, it also wants to give visibility to virtuous companies that have invested significant resources to improve the world we live in. The award is given solely on the basis of ESG ratings by Altis Advisory, a spin-off of the Catholic University, and Reprisk.
Dani’s merit
Dani ranked first in the “Top 100 ESG Excellence Environmental” category with the following motivation, “For its strong commitment to combating climate change and promoting responsible use of natural resources.” The award also recognizes the tannery’s commitment to its sustainability journey, as its first certification dates back to 1997.
