CNC (Conseil National du Cuir), French confederation that puts together the interests of 19 national associations involved in the leather industry’s chain, re-confirmed Frank Boehly (66 years old), in charge since 2014, as its president. The assembly that made the decision took place on December 14th, 2017, and set the objectives for the period 2018-2020. First: improving the quality of raw material and the defense of the term ‘leather’. Then: Training and sharing of proposals to innovate the sector. And finally, focus on social responsibility, implementing activities from CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) to make it so that “the French leather chain is encouraged to face this necessary aspect of the work, which represents an essential step if we are to further improve our excellency”, stated Boehly.
