Following the 2011 edition in Rio De Janeiro and the Milan edition last year, the World Leather Congress is back with a new stage, this time in China. On 29 August, Shanghai’s Pullman Hotel will host the debate “The Leather Revolution”, focusing on the profound changes that the leather sector will face over the next 20 years in terms of technological innovation, improvements in environmental performance and the creation of value. The congress is organised by the International Council of Tanners (president Richard Pai) with the CLIA, the Chinese tanners association, and the TILA, the same association in Taiwan.
