The contact point dates back to last March, when Lineapelle held a series of “promotion and sharing” meetings in Seoul, summarised in the concept #sharinginnovation and characterised by presentations and storytelling activities related to quality, sustainability and the constant innovative evolution of leather and the Italian tannery industry. The next step goes back to these last hours, during which Lineapelle has returned to South Korea at the specific request of some automotive and technology giants (Kia, Hyundai and LG), organising a personalised presentation of materials selected to stimulate their willingness (and curiosity) to use leather in a new way: advanced, innovative and smart. Judging by the interest aroused, the objective has been achieved and Lineapelle’s “Korean project” will have further developments, in terms of “leather education” and the way in which it can be applied, in particular, to the world of concept cars.
