If in 2020 Conceria Pasubio achieved satisfactory results, despite Coronavirus, it owes it to the commitment of its staff. For this reason, the group from Arzignano (Vicenza) has decided to recognise an extraordinary bonus to its employees for a total financial commitment of 700,000 euros. The measure, in pay-checks, benefits 450 employees, half of the employees in Italy.
Extraordinary bonus to the employee
As explained by Il Giornale di Vicenza, the premium is recognised in “a manner proportional to the hours of layoff paid”. The measure was approved by the Board of Directors last December. At the beginning of the meeting, the board was able to express “great satisfaction for the economic and financial results – we read – which mark a further improvement for Conceria Pasubio, compared to previous years”.
The comment
“I am particularly proud of this additional extraordinary measure – is the comment of CEO Luca Pretto to Il Giornale di Vicenza -. So I want to express, on my behalf and that of the whole board, a due thanks to the team of all my collaborators, without exception, for the dedication shown and for the extraordinary efforts and sacrifices made, even in the most difficult moments”. The pandemic affected the company’s activities, but employees “allowed us to achieve an extraordinarily better result than that of our expectations – he concludes -, even in a Covid context”.
