Peretti Group makes Conceria Cristina even greener. The company from Vicenza signed an Energy Performance Contract for the construction of a cogeneration plant. This system, supplied by Alperia Bartucci, will deliver a power of approximately 500 kW, allowing the tannery to achieve significant reductions in heat and electricity consumption.
The comments
“For the Peretti Group, sustainability has an inestimable value, which is why our commitment to achieve sustainability objectives aimed at reducing environmental impact is relentless” explains Giuseppe Valter Peretti, owner of the group.
“Cogeneration plants arise from the need to increase energy efficiency”. A goal pursued “by reducing primary energy consumption and consequently decreasing climate-altering emissions – says Giovanni Bartucci, executive vice president of Alperia Bartucci -. Thanks to our Energy Performance Contract, we bring significant benefits in economic, environmental and corporate image terms, which translate into an increase in competitiveness”.
The agreement
The South Tyrolean company Alperia Bartucci, which has its operational headquarters in Soave (Verona), will create a cogeneration plant for Conceria Cristina. This system, as reported by nordestonomia.gelocal.it, will be able to generate about 500 kW of electrical power. This will allow the tannery to save approximately 2,600 MWh of electricity and 3,200 thermal MWh deriving from processing with hot water and steam.
