See you at Lineapelle together with the influencers of Is It Leather?

We will be at Lineapelle this time as well. La Conceria returns to the fair, at the entrance to Hall 13 (Aisle A), setting up a real editorial office among the booths, as in the last editions of the Milanese fair. An opportunity for meeting and sharing, that will be updated with a very interesting news. We invite you, in fact, to come to our booth from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday 17 September, to discover the Is It Leather? communication project and meet its influencers with us.

See you at Lineapelle

Is It Leather? introduces itself as follows. “Our campaign, focused on education and transparency, is helping to raise consumer awareness of a wide range of issues regarding real leather products versus faux leather products. Many consumers are unaware that real leather is being replaced by plastic-based faux leather products. We encourage transparency and believe that consumers should know exactly what their products are made from, in order to make well-informed purchasing decisions”. Therefore, we could not let this opportunity slip away: that of hosting a strategic Meet & Greet with a group of influencers at our editorial office on the Lineapelle booth; a group that this project has catalysed around itself to share as much as possible objectives that – in a nutshell – match our own.

The influencers of Is It Leather?

Waiting for you on Tuesday 17 September will be four influencers with hundreds of thousands of followers. Tanner Leatherstein, 1.7 million followers on social platforms and a reputation based on viral content, in taking apart luxury accessories to analyse their workmanship and quality. Kyle Gross, around 70,000 followers, content creator thunderstruck on the path of leather and its circularity, face of Is It Leather? Yusuf Osman, 40,000 followers: lawyer turned leather craftsman with a mission to get the world of leather talking. Ben Geiser, 277,000 followers: saddle craftsman turned leather professional. Also with them will be Lauren Fix and Al Vàzquez, journalists with a strong social identity, specialising in the automotive sector.

The hour of (leather) knowledge

“Over 6 billion consumers are on social media – it’s time for them to learn about real leather”, says Gross. “It’s incredibly exciting to meet passionate artisans in the industry, exploring the deep history of (sadly) little-known leather, while observing all the latest developments at Lineapelle, the leather capital of the world”, Tanner Leatherstein echoes him. “In an age where consumers are increasingly disconnected from the things they consume”, comments Geisler, “we meet at Lineapelle to share our art. And celebrate the importance of leather in the modern world”. The last word (for now) is Osman’s: “In the leather industry we have the most tactile material in the world, and a treasure trove of untapped stories. We can use it to bring people together and foster meaningful connections and conversations”. See you at Lineapelle.
