After a smooth start, we have been gearing up later in the morning. Exhibitors at Lineapelle93, which opened at Fieramilano Rho yesterday, are happy and optimistic. On the opening day the number of visitors that turned up at the fair, still on the agenda today and tomorrow, was higher than expected. “We have been witnessing an increasing trend of customers” point out in the stand of Beschin di Chiampo (Vicenza) tannery. Same goes for Matteo Zorzin, from Ferrari tannery, based in Veneto, as he acknowledges “a very good flow of visitors” that makes him feel “very optimistic”. “We are always confident” says smiling Flavio Fetta, from Claudia tannery. Likewise international people who are present at the fair are satisfied. “It’s going well, so far we are happy about the first day – says Joel Krumenauer, sales director at Krumenauer, the Brazilian tannery -. We have met up with our customers, and we got to know new ones as well”. “On the first day we were given positive feedback about our products on display”, says Andrea Bagnoli from Nuti Ivo Group. “The fair first day goes hand in hand with our Lineapelle trend – adds Alessandra Grassi, sales export manager at JH Chienti Tannery -. Generally the first two days are pretty hectic, since all of our most important clients, both national and international, show up”. How about expectations on the second day? “We have a feeling that it might be even better than day one – says Giuseppe De Michele, from Dean tannery, Naples -. However, even though the opening day trend were confirmed, that would be a good accomplishment. Yesterday the flow of visitors was considerably high, compared to Paris and the fair last editions”.
