“Our business model has taken us from South America to Southeast Asia. Now we are taking another step forward with a state-of-the-art facility in a key strategic geographic location that strengthens our position. This new facility is not just another facility for Sadesa, but a testament to our unwavering dedication to innovation, sustainability, and leadership, adapted to meet local needs”, the group emphasizes in a video posted on Instagram. The investment is part of a framework that looks at a portion of the market, the sneaker one, which has undergone many changes in recent months.

How the story began

Founded in 1941 in Buenos Aires by German-American Walter Lebach, the company began by exporting leather to Europe and then gradually expanded its production horizons.  From automotive to fashion and, now, sports footwear. The decision to expand into Vietnam represents a strategic move based on the implementation of green technologies that are one of the pivotal aspects of the new tannery in Saigon.
