A fundraiser to help Vozko‘s 216 retired people cope with the difficulties following the Russian invasion. Vozko Charitable Foundation, the humanitarian foundation linked to the tanning group, is asking for the support of the Italian and international community to collect resources to be distributed before the Orthodox Easter (16 April). “Many of them are over 75 years old”, say the foundation, “and for a year they have been spending all the pension and aid we provide them on medicine”.
Vozko, fundraising for retired people
Vozko tanning group is located in Voznesensk (Mykolaiv region, south of the country). At the beginning of the invasion, Russian troops occupied the town, only to be pushed back in March 2022. Like many other Ukrainian localities, Voznesensk remained under enemy fire for a long time. In such a setting, the living conditions of the local population could only deteriorate. This is why Vozko Charitable Foundation decided to make a commitment to its people. “Each of them will personally receive the aid in cash, along with a letter of Happy Easter greetings with a list of all the friends who have supported us”.
